Alan was a finalist in the ITNews CIO of the Year Awards 2017 for his innovative work on the data warehouse transformation. While CIO of Altium Ltd, Alan was a finalist for Asia Pacific CIO of the Year and was identified by The Australian newspaper as one of the top 20 people to watch in Information Technology.

Alan is a recognised pioneer in Cloud Computing and has served as a CTO for Rackspace Asia-Pacific and Chief Innovation Officer for HP’s Cloud business unit in Asia-Pacific based in Singapore. He started his career as an accountant and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.
